In addition to limiting the ecological impact of our products, we also strive to promote sustainable business in our offices, warehouses and production facilities. Through the use of low power-consuming lights and energy-saving heating and air conditioning, we make sure our office is managed sustainably. Our staff comes to the office using mostly electric-powered vehicles.
Our warehouse uses recycled paper for its paper-based packaging and recycles all waste packaging materials. It also handles all products using electric forklifts that are charged using green energy. Furthermore, our production facilities work as energy efficient as possible, use less plastic and produce less waste during production.
We are fully committed to the wellbeing of everyone involved in our supply chain, and of those who use our products every day. That is why we adhere to the standard set in the EU’s Regulation (EU) 2017/821 on the supply chain due diligence obligations for importers of tin, tantalum, tungsten, their ores, and gold from conflict-affected and high risk areas. By adhering to this standard, we ensure that the materials used in the production of our devices do not support armed conflicts.
In addition, we fully adhere to the latest version of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive imposed by the EU. This directive aims to restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Materials restricted by this directive are Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Chromium and others, which can lead to health risks.
Furthermore, we also follow the most recent EU Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) guidelines that aim to regulate the production, import and use of chemical substances and the potential impact that they could have on human health and the environment. By adhering to the guidelines set by the EU, we ensure our products are free of any hazardous chemicals that might impact the wellbeing of individuals.
