Explanation: Naming new models

Discover our renowned and next-generation devices

In Q1 2024, we've proudly introduced a wide range of next-generation devices. These brand-new products are an addition to our existing product range and come equipped with cutting-edge features, including a new powerful CPU, more system memory, non-glare treatment, IEEE 802.1X, and newer Android versions.

Regardless of which operating system you prefer, we have got you covered: Android, Windows, Linux. Our trusted range of Android Panel PCs (our renowned models) with Android 9 has been used all over the world. We will continue to offer this range to improve efficiency and drive customer experience for your solutions.

In addition, we introduced our APPC-R23 series of Android Panel PCs that come with the AOSP versions of Android 11 and 12. These Android versions provide additional security features, higher performance, and better compatibility with applications to ensure our devices are ready for the demands of tomorrow.

To dinstinguish our next-generation devices from our renowned models, we've added a 'product system code' to the product name. For example, the R23 model of the APPC-10SLB is named the APPC-10SLB (R23-7501). This ensures that you and your customers always receive the correct model and it allows us to continue providing the best technical support.

Download here the complete overview of our next-generation and renowned devices, including website URLs.

Please note that all products available for order are displayed on our website under 'Products'. Previous models that are build-to-order can be found in the archive.

New case: Media.Monks

A point-of-sale solution at Media.Monks

As their team was growing rapidly, Media.Monks decided to implement five self-service payment kiosks in its company restaurant, comprising our IPPC-10SLB. In doing so, the company aimed to prevent long waiting times and enhance employee experience.

To implement this solution, Media.Monks partnered with Diz, who in turn decided to involve Sjef. and ProDVX Europe for this project. While Sjef. provided both software and hardware components, Diz and ProDVX contributed hardware expertise.

Discover the ProDVX API

Benefit from simplified development and seamless integration with the ProDVX API

We've recently introduced the ProDVX API. This is a Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface (in short, REST API). It acts as a middleman, allowing your software to easily communicate and exchange data with your ProDVX devices. The API has two main functions: (1) system functions access, and (2) model agnostic implementation.

The ProDVX API is free of charge and currently compatible with all Android models running Android 8.1, 9, 11, and 12. This includes our R23 Android Panel PCs, Android Box PCs, and UltraWide Signage Displays.
